Sufjan Stevens at the Wiltern – 10/23/10

Thanks to the internet gods, I had the best seats in the house (row AAA!) for Saturday’s Sufjan Stevens show at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. It’s been five years since I last saw Sufjan, so I’d been aching to see him live again. He performed mostly new material from his recent release, The Age of Adz, which is radically different from his other albums in almost every area except quality–it’s still excellent.
